Mrs. Sara Haupt

Mr. Craig Kasunic

I am in my 20th year in education, including 16 years with the Oil City Area School District. Prior to becoming a school administrator, I began my career as a science teacher in St. Mary’s, Alaska, before returning to Pennsylvania and teaching biology at Oil City Senior High School.

My experiences as both a classroom teacher and school leader have shaped my commitment to creating a high school environment focused on student growth, healthy relationships, and opportunity.

I believe high school should prepare students for success long after graduation while also providing experiences and memories they will value for years to come. Academic achievement and preparation for college, careers, and life are essential, but I also believe students should enjoy coming to school, build meaningful relationships, participate in activities, and take pride in being part of their school community.

My goal is for every student to leave high school prepared for the next chapter of life while also being able to look back on their high school years as a positive, enjoyable, and meaningful experience.
